About TOG

The Online Grapevine’s (aka “TOG”) goal is to provide a place and space for young women to present their take on what matters to them when it comes to lifestyle and thought-provoking issues. We’re kind of like The View… but online and younger.

There are plenty of guilty pleasure gossip sites. But The Online Grapevine aims to provide alternative content from young women that is meant to be shared in order to make people think, to start discussion, to challenge them, and to inspire and empower. The Online Grapevine envisions becoming the mainstream online community that people come to in order to join the conversation on what young women think and their views on lifestyle, particular social issues and matters – whether they be serious or fun or anything in between.

Here at TOG we have 4 different content types:

The Sorbate

The Sorbate (pronounced "Sore-bait") is a weekly compilation of 5 young women and their view on a topic. The name came from a conversation with a friend who combined "sor" from sorority and "bate" from debate. Pretty cool, huh? Topics range from fun to serious, but they're always thought provoking and meant to start conversations. Check out The Sorbate every Tuesday for the newest topic!

The Daily Vine

The Daily Vine has a blogger for each day of the week so you'll always have something new to read on the TOGblog.

The New View

The New View focuses on current events and thoughts on what’s going on now.

Content Series

These are usually a group of blogs that revolve around an occurring theme.
