Last week, we all watched painfully as an experimental balloon apparently flew through the sky with a young boy. 

Turns out that the whole story was made up by the boy’s parents: Richard and Mayumi Heene.  Of course they are denying it to save their butts. We all know they are in big trouble. The family appeared on CNN and it was hard to watch them get caught red handed on national television.  The dad asks the child, “Did you hear us calling your name at any time?” The boys replies “Uh-huh, You guys said..that, umm…we did this for a show.”  As I watched, my mouth was agape.

Online dating always had a negative connotation in my eyes.  In the past, I was not only apprehensive about the idea, I just never even thought about it.  Now that I'm older, I know what I want, and I feel like it's hard to meet a good guy at a bar.  Looking at profiles and seeing what a guy is really looking for and what they are all about is really interesting.

Networking has become very powerful in my life.  We all should realize that networking is a life skill, not just something you do when you want something.  Don't shut everyone out of you life, make strong connections and stay in touch. 

Things just fall into place easier if you are constantly open to meeting new people or having a friendly conversation with strangers.

My new business is officially in business.  You can check it out at NameThatFrame.com.  The journey has just begun.  One of my first goals is to find my target market.  I somehow forgot that finding my target market is so crucial.  I was in advertising and we could describe the target of each Toyota vehicle to a T.  We knew little details like the Prius target market likes to be involved with community organizations and cut out things from magazine.  We knew that the Venza target likes bite-sized entertainment and longs to pursue a new passion in their life.

Jack Lalanne is my #1 fitness hero.  Lalanne was the first fitness expert to encourage women to lift weights. (Weights were said to make women masculine and unattractive.)  He was the first at many fitness related accomplishments that have shaped what fitness is today. 

Forgot to mention that Jack is 94-years-old and works out every morning for two hours.  What an inspiration.
