Find Your Match

Online dating always had a negative connotation in my eyes. In the past, I was not only apprehensive about the idea, I just never even thought about it. Now that I'm older, I know what I want, and I feel like it's hard to meet a good guy at a bar. Looking at profiles and seeing what a guy is really looking for and what they are all about is really interesting.
After narrowing my search by different criteria, I choose two lucky guys and messaged them asking them to hang out. My friends told me that I was too direct and I was going to scare them away, but luckily they messaged back. I just don't want to waste anyone's time.
Just got back from my first date and it was great. We connected on so many levels. The conversation flowed and we are now going on our second date. There is a plethora of similarities between the two of us.
I definitely recommend Match.com to all you single ladies out there. Forget about being embarrassed. You may find your "match made in heaven."

I read this and it seemed a bit brief to me. I found myself wanting to ask you several questions:
1. Were you nervous about going into online dating?
2. How did the date go... like specifics?
3. Any advice for girls who may be shy about online dating? Do's and don't's?
I think this is a good framework for some interesting topics... but as a finished piece? I say... put some meat on this!

This reads like a journal entry. I guess your last line recommends a specific service, but it would have been nice to see you go a little further into the subject. A lot of the writers on TOG take the time to put their best foot forward, presenting their readers with strong opinions and different views. Isn't it almost offensive to them that you seemingly throw something together, usually based off of your personal experience?
