It'll Happen - Hopefully Sooner Rather Than Later

"There's no such thing as a fraction of equality." - Cleve Jones
It's simple math. Either things are equivalent, or they aren't. Civil Unions are not even a little equal to the right to get married.
People should absolutely have the right to get married. Gay or straight. I firmly believe this.
What upsets me, more than anything, is the lame arguments: sanctity of marriage? That hasn't been sacred for a very long time (let's talk about basically anyone who was royalty in Europe back in the day). When something has a 50% success rate, don't tell me you are worried about someone ELSE screwing it up. And there are still people who are married who have messed up marriages as well. Abuse, affairs, loveless... it's ridiculous how these hypocrites are so against gay marriage.
It's not natural? People used to think it wasn't natural for women to have any rights, now we know better. Interracial marriage? Now we know better (except for some degenerates). That's what gives me hope that this also will be common sense soon - people will realize it's stupid to not let gays marry. We just need to keep up the fight. It's working, slowly but surely.
