Did You Know?

This week we'll take a look at the homeless. Winter weather is on its way and for many, that's a scary thing when you don't have adequate shelter. Here are some facts you may not know:

  • The recession will force 1.5 million MORE people into homelessness over the next two years.
  • One out of 50, or about 1.5 million American children are homeless each year.
  • California ranks as one of the states with the highest homelessness rate.
