Mr. Omnipotent

is there a godEver wonder how your body can fall asleep, like literally lie dormant for hours…but yet wake itself up every morning??

Ever wonder how it came to be that the Earth is distanced far enough from the sun, therefore providing the PERFECT amount of light to warm and illuminate the earth??

Ever wonder how the ocean (which covers 71% of the Earth) knows to stop at its shores, therefore allowing life to exist above water??

How is it that the human body comes equipped with its own pharmacy aka “the Immune System,” which serves as a fighting apparatus that creates a number of strategies to fight or prevent ailments from the human body????

Many individuals would look at these statements and argue that evolution, natural progression, or the Big Bang Theory is the cause of these natural wonders. However, I personally beg to differ.

I don’t know about you…but I feel that attributing explanations to many of the world's natural wonders as chance, or a form of evolution, just doesn’t sit right with me. If we really were created out of a cosmic blast that formed the Earth and all that’s in it, why do things run as smoothly as they do? If all was by chance…why does it seem that every little detail of the earth, its creatures, and the solar system all seem to work in order, in unison, as if following protocol? For instance, the system of the Earth’s water cycle, the Earth rotating every hour at the same time of each day, the upriver salmon migration, natural decomposition of waste, etc…

Instead, I believe that the answer to all of these wonders is because of the existence of an omnipotent being that creates, monitors, and watches over all of its creations and living things. I call that entity Father, the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End…GOD.

Aside from personally seeing God’s existence through his creations, I’ve also developed my own relationship with him, which solidifies my belief in his existence. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t acknowledge him for all that he is or all that he has done. He’s MY air. Without him I feel weak, alone, misguided, basically lost without him. Some would look at this as weak, but I feel that it’s quite the opposite. It takes deep trust and faith to follow a God that cannot be physically seen or touched tangibly, therefore, how can this act of faith be seen as weak?

At the end of the day it’s up to you to decide what you believe in, but personally I see that the world and creation itself screams of the existence of God, who created it. I leave you with the scripture, Psalm 63. May it spark a thirst within your spirit to seek God and discover more of who He is.
