About Julie

Originally from Montana, I became a Texas resident early on. I now reside in Austin, live music capital of the world and the best city in Texas (in my opinion). As a Mass Communications degree holder, I am enthralled with exchange of ideas through multimedia. I feel all impressions are subject to change, and that the more varied viewpoints you have access to, the more informed and balanced your opinions can become.

I find it amazing that even the subtlest of implements can influence people’s thinking, which is why I studied and work in film and media. Specific colors, words, and shapes can all conjure profound reactions. I only hope that my work can inspire its audience to think about something they may not have considered before, even if they find their viewpoints are not in agreeance with mine.
