In seeing quite a few of my peers become malcontent with their internship experience as well as having a horror experience or two of my own, I believe I have a teeny bit of advice for those that are about to embark on their first internship.

For considering my top three travel destinations, I considered our current political, socioeconomic and employment economy and thought, "Damn, I wanna see how other countries are pulling it off." Thus, included are my top three Utopian societies...nothing is perfect but work with me.

In looking towards the future of technology, Singularity University as well as the work associated, has been increasingly featured in the media. But what is Singularity University? Is it actually a place? Who goes there? Not students surely. The following is a brief introduction to Singularity University as well as the topics they seek to explore.

Thinking about LGBT month has led me to think about what has not been openly discussed in regards to the gay community. What immediately came to mind, and what I consider to be an undercover issue in terms of alternative lifestyle, is the development of social cliques within the gay community, particularly among women, or those that choose to be associated with that gender.

In response to The Atlantic article, “The End of Men,” it seems clear that although women may be hitting it out of the park in terms of facts and figures, we might have a ways to go before we convince people to change their perception of women in the workplace. That is to say, we might actually have to leave men behind before we are accepted as equals. This should begin by cutting out the women hating that happens all the time.
